1.Candidate whose MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP is sanctioned in previous year 2.Successfully completed the year. 3.Course is not changed. 4.Candidate whose State Govt.Scholarship was sanctioned in previous year can't apply for Renewal,they can apply for Fresh.

For State Government Scholarships for Minority communities, the candidate can give affidavit on Rs. 10/- Court Fee Stamp/ Revenue Stamp also.

Candidates pursing courses ( BA, B.Com., B.Sc,B.Ed etc and PG courses ) under Higher Education should download the application form, fill it completely, attach required documents and submit to respective Institute by 2nd March 2010 which are to forward it to Joint Director office of Higher Education.Visit www.dirhe.org.in

Date for Submission of State Government Scholarship form is extended upto 8 March 2010.

Once the application form of candidate is scruitined for Merit cum Means or State Govt.scholarship for the same academic year(2009-10),then there is no need to submit again,for this chek your application status by candidate login.

Institutes are directed to reject the Dummy/Duplicate candidates through Institute login.No form should be unscruitinized.

Candidate can fill the bank details through candidate login for E_Transfer of Scholarship amount.

The name on account should be match with the name as in application form submitted by the candidate for scholarship.

>> Verification of Bank details

Institues are directed to get the bank details with IFSC code of the candidates and update through their Instiute Login

>> Regarding Transfer of Scholarship Amount

Process of transfering money to students account has been started. Money will be transferred as soon as bank will confirm the students account number.

>> In case of Joint Account

First name should be the name of the scholarship holder in bank in case of Joint account.

>> Updation of A/C number

Candidate whose account number is not of core banking has to submit the core banking A/C number with IFS Code of that bank where the candidate has opened the account.For updation of A/C number submit it to concern college.College that comes under DTE can update through their institute login.And the institute that not comes under DTE can submit the bank dateails of candidate to the concern Regional Office of DTE for updation.

>> Status of Scholarship Amt.transfer

Candidate can check the A.Y.wise status like-scholarship transffered or not,name of scholarship holder not match with the name on bank account etc. through their Application ID.

>> IFSC Code in Bank Details

IFSC Code of bank branch is compulsory for Transferring of Scholarship Amount

Online Application Form for Minority Scholarship for A.Y.2010-11 is started.Candidate whose scholarship is sanctioned for A.Y.2009-10 can apply for Renewal (if eligible )through candidate login by using the Application ID and Password of A.Y.2009-10.Fresh candidate can apply through candidate registration.

Candidate who has forgot the Application ID and Password can know the Application ID by refering the selected candidate list of Year-2011-12 and for Password go through candidate login and insert personal details or got from institute

INSTITUTE that comes under DTE can give a password to candidate who has forgot their own password through INSTITUTE LOGIN and on clicking retrive password in a institute pannel.

Old institute code(i.e.of year 2009-10) is replaced by New Institute code for year 2010-11.

Even if the application form is received late to the Institute, Process it and forward to Regional Office

Institute that comes under DTE has to Online Scruitinize the received application form.The institute that not comes under DTE has to Mannualy scruitinized the online filled application and forward to the concern address for Online Scruitiny.Uncruitinize application form will not be considered for merit list.

The proposal has been send to Government Of India for approval.Hence the 1.Candidates who has fail to apply for Merit cum Means Fresh Scholarship; can apply for State Government Scholarship and Institute can scrutinized for State Government Scholarship.2.Candidates who has fail to apply for Merit cum Means Renewal Scholarship; can apply through candidate login for Merit cum Means Renewal and same will be scruitinize by institute.

>> Ones Filled Online Form

If candidate has filled Online Application Form either for MCM or SGS scholarship and got a Application ID than donot fill Application form again and again,candidate can continue through that Application ID.

>> Transfer Scholarship Amount

Candidate should suibmit, through Institute, the IFS Code & Account No. of Nationalized / Scheduled bank for transfer of scholarship amount through ECS/NEFT.

Scrutinize the unscrutinised applications of State Government Minority Scholarship on before 14 Dec 2010

Date extended till 31st Jan 2011.Institutes are directed to scrutinise the forms and send to the concerned office

Scrutinize the remaining filled form for selection for A.Y. 2010-11 till the scrutinize process is on.Unscrutinize form will not be considered.

>> Candidate can Upload images of Bank Documents for Account Verification

Candidate can upload the images of the Passbook / Cheque Book having Name, Account Number and IFS Code , so that we can verify the Account for e-Transfer. The account should be in any Nationalised Bank having e-Transfer facility.

>> Verification of Bank Details

Candidate whose bank a/c no.is not verified has to check the filled bank details[bank name,IFSC code of bank branch(11 digit),a/c no.] on website-www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/Scholarships by there application ID.In case of any correction,contact to institute.Updation facility is provided to the institute that comes under DTE.Other Institute should contact to DTE/RO(DTE) for updation.

>> Minor-Major a/c in bank.

At the time of opening of the bank a/c,if the candidate is Minor(below 18 year) and now the candidate is Major(above 18 year),contact to bank for necessary changes if still a/c is minor in bank for E-transfer.

>> Advertisement for Merit cum Means Based Scholarship-2011-12

Candidate can fill the Application form for Merit cum Means based scholarship on site-www.momascholarship.gov.in.The eligible candidates whose merit cum means based scholarship is sanctioned in year-2010-11 can fill Renewal and the other candiates can fill Fresh Application Form.For details refer the advertisement of Merit cum Means Based scholarship.

>> Date Extended-Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship-2011-12

Last Date for filling the Online Application Form for student is extended from-10 Sept.to 30 Sept.for FRESH scholarship and date for RENEWAL is same as mentioned in advertisement.

Filling of online application form-2011-12 is started for MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP on site-www.momascholarship.gov.in(for detail refer the advertisement). The candiate whose State Govt.Scholarship is sanctioned in previous year(i.e.2010-11) can't fill the RENEWAL Form in Merit cum Means Based scholarship.If want,they can fill as a FRESH Form.

>> State Govt.Scholarship-2011-12

The procedure for Filling the Online Application Form for State Govt.Scholarship-2011-12 may be come in next month.

>> Types of Scholarship schemes for Tech. and Prof.courses.

Both types of Scholarship scheme i.e.Merit cum Means based scholarship and State Govt.Scholarship scheme are different one.One who has got one type of scholarship can't apply for Renewal in other scholarship,they can apply as a RENEWAL in same type of Scholarship.If want to apply in other type of scholarship, they can apply as a FRESH scholarship.

The eligible candidate who has got one type of scholarship can apply as a RENEWAL for that type of scholarship only.Other candidate can apply as a FRESH scholarship.

LoginID(User Name) and Website for both the schemes i.e.Merit cum Means based scholarship(of GoI) and State Govt.scholarship (of Maharashtra Govt.) are different and for both schemes,User name(LoginId) and password are provided to that Institute whose name is in Institute List.

Candidate can fill the Application form for Merit cum Means based scholarship on site-www.momascholarship.gov.in.The no. of scholarship is increased from 1840 to 5520.The eligible candidates whose Merit cum Means based scholarship is sanctioned in year-2011-12 can fill Renewal and the other candiates can fill Fresh Application Form.For details refer the advertisement of Merit cum Means Based scholarship-12-13.

Candidate can check the Confirm by Institute Status by application Id.Scholarship will be Transffer to those candidates whose Confirm Status will be YES.Contact to Instituet whose Confirmation is Pending.
